Nurse SA is a nursing agency providing qualified healthcare staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Enrolled Nurses (ENs), Personal Care Workers (PCWs), and Support Workers, to hospitals, aged care facilities, community programs, and disability services across South Australia.

Pay & Rates
Pay rates vary based on:
Qualification (RN/EN/PCW)
Facility type
Shift time (Penalties)
Weekend & public holiday loadings
All pay is compliant with relevant awards and enterprise agreements.
Payments are made weekly, usually every Wednesday or Thursday depending on banking.
Mileage may be paid for community-based and home care shifts, depending on the specific assignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
RNs typically manage:
Care planning
Medication administration
Wound management
Assessments & documentation
Supervising ENs and PCWs
Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
ENs perform delegated clinical duties including:
Medication rounds (within scope)
Personal care oversight
Vital signs & observations
Documentation
Supporting RNs with clinical tasks
PCWs assist with:
Personal care
Mobility support
Feeding & hydration
Social and emotional support
Documentation of care tasks
Reporting changes to nursing staff
